There are weddings that unfold in a straight line — ceremony, portraits, reception, done. And then there are weddings that breathe. Where something unexpected happens between the ceremony and the cake and that becomes the photograph everyone asks about later.

Nicole and Juan Carlos wedding at Casa Veranda was the second kind. The space was elegant, the guests were alive, and the evening moved through its moments with a warmth that needed no choreography.
